We were fortunate enough to spend the holiday with Grandma and Pa at the coast. Everybody got to come which was an extra special blessing! It was an adventure packed trip with sand castle-building, wave-jumping, yummy food-eating, firework-watching, raccoon-hunting, roller coaster-riding, and good family-time-spending. Getting to spend time with the whole crew happens less and less, so to be able to coordinate schedules was pretty much miraculous. Plus it was Grandma's birthday! Doughnuts for birthday breakfasts are best. And if that wasn't amazing enough we were even able to squeeze in a fabulous lunch with Cousin Mike and his super sweet lady-friend Cindy. This whole family definitely needed some relaxation! We spent the 4th at the wharf ;) enjoying clam chowder and then got to see some amazing fireworks on the beach! Well, Julia and I got to hang out inside while B slept, but the fireworks were literally out the back door!
However, my most favorite part of the trip was getting to go back to the house where we were married, and to take the kids there was even cooler! Even though they probably weren't as stoked about it as we were it was still pretty special. Thank you Mom and Dad (and Kiki&Kyle and Lolo&Tyler) for an awesome family trip!
Hey Kyle and Tyler, did you guys notice you were matching? Haha!
